Once you’ve determined the shape of your face, consider these style suggestions when choosing a new wig.
diamond
For faces with wide cheekbones and a narrow chin, a chin-length bob and wigs with a sweep of bangs/fringe are this girl’s best friend. Choose styles with minimal volume on top and at the sides.
heart
As feminine as it gets, a heart-shaped face has a wider forehead and a narrower chin. Choose styles with long, piecey bangs and fullness around the jaw and below. Keep hair close to the head at the temples.
oblong
If your bone structure is slim and chiseled (how elegant!), choose styles with a full fringe or half bang, and soft waves or curls in the crown and nape areas.

A face that’s longer than wide with a jaw that’s narrower than the cheekbones looks perfectly proportionate in almost any wig style, length or texture. Lucky you!

For a face shape with a jawline that’s wider than the forehead, tip the beauty balance in your favor with styles that add width from the temples through the crown. Keep hair close to the head at the sides and nape.
round
Geometric cuts and styles with long, wispy sides are best for faces with a wide hairline and fullness below the cheekbones. Choose wigs that add height yet are close to the head at the sides and nape.
square
Curly textures and wisps of hair around the face add softness to a wide hairline and jaw. Select wigs with height on top and narrow sides. Style bangs off the forehead.
