Styling & Care

Some wig styles are packed inside out to preserve the styling. When you first receive your new wig, be sure to read all the instructions included in the box, on the hang tag and the labels inside the wig. What to keep in mind when unpacking a wig.

Some wigs include a Protective Liner to provide an additional layer of hygienic protection. What is a protective liner? Try the wig on with the Protective Liner in place. Since the liner does not stretch, the fit may feel snug and/or the wig may not sit properly. Do not judge the fit with the Protective Liner in place. If you love your new wig and have decided to keep it, now is the time to remove the Protective Liner. Remove the Protective Liner by carefully snipping the threads that attach it to the wig cap. A small pair of scissors or a seam ripper work best. Work slowly and take care not to pull, tear or cut the wig cap. The wig may not be returned for refund or exchanged if either the liner or hangtag is removed.
